UD: What's your vibe in regards to style?
MT: Right now I'm very into "athleisure", which is the natural combination of athletic (or streetwear) and leisurewear. It's definitely a trend, but I think it's great because it's comfy and you can still look fashionable and fierce.
UD: What sets you apart from the masses?
MT: I push myself to take certain risks, mixing patterns and textures despite what others might think... I wouldn't want to limit myself because of my size.
UD: Are your daily outfits planned? What is the planning process like?
MT: Yes, I always find one element that sets off the inspiration to build a look. I visualize the clothes and accessories that would work together for the occasion.
UD: Beyond the current trends, what else inspires your take on style?
MT: Honestly everything is inspiring--- from the streets of New York, to fashion magazines... Even social media is a great resource to inspire various looks.
UD: Favorite brands?
MT: Rick Owens, Public School, Alexander Wang, or anything that catches my eye.
UD: Do you have a hard time finding clothes at your size?
MT: I do, specially if they are designer pieces. I actually try to find oversized styles in the biggest sizes they do have, usually XL or XXL, and then they're wearable as a slim fit for someone like myself.

UD: Tell us your thoughts on the current men's style landscape, especially for plus size men?
MT: I don't think there is a lot out there, honestly. I don't see much in comparison to women's plus size clothing and we definitely need to change that.
UD: Does your cultural background play into your style choices?
MT: Definitely! Growing up in Argentina, everyone is very into their appearance. It's very trend oriented. For that reason I was buying fashion magazines at a very young age.
